UWC National Committee Visits ISAK

UWC-Visit-ISAK-Sept-2015

On Friday, September 4, 2015, members of the UWC National Committee of Japan made a visit to ISAK to tour our facilities and meet with school founder, Ms. Lin Kobayashi, to discuss ISAK’s ongoing process of working toward becoming a UWC school. The committee members received a campus tour, observed classes, received a financial update and enjoyed an outdoor lunch with Ms. Kobayashi and several ISAK students. According to Ms. Kobayashi, the committee was impressed with what the saw, both inside and outside the classroom.

UWC is an educational consortium of international schools and colleges around the world with a common mission to “make education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.” Learn more about how we are working to become a UWC here.

Imagine… if there was an ISAK lower school!

Dear Friends of UWC ISAK,

UWC ISAK is celebrating its 10th anniversary! We are proud of where we’ve come from, and we are excited about the next decade.

At this important milestone, we are wondering – in pursuit of broadening our impact, could an ISAK Lower School be considered as one of the options and would it be feasible? A school that embraces ISAK values and vision for a better future?
