Our Campus

Our campus is located in the Japanese mountain resort town of Karuizawa in Nagano Prefecture—only a short 60-minute bullet train ride from Tokyo Station. Karuizawa offers scores of opportunities to experience the scenery, solitude, and local charm that make it an ideal place for a UWC School.

Our campus buildings have been designed by renowned architects to marry the clean lines of traditional Japanese architecture with modern efficiency and technology. We are currently expanding and will be opening a Multi-purpose Center (Fall 2020), followed by a Creative Center and Health and Wellness Center.

Take some time to explore our campus, facilities and the surrounding community.
