ISAK Founder, Lin Kobayashi, Named 2017 World Fellow at Yale University

Congratulations to Ms. Lin Kobayashi, ISAK Founder and Chair of the Board, for being named a 2017 World Fellow at Yale University. Ms. Kobayashi is one of only 16 people chosen for this prestigious global leadership program from a worldwide applicant pool of more than 2,000 individuals.

World Fellows is an intensive, four-month academic enrichment and leadership training program and is Yale’s signature global leadership development initiative. Ms. Kobayashi will take a leave of absence from mid-July to mid-December to attend the program. Upon learning she was accepted, Ms. Kobayashi stated, “I hope that I’ll be able to gain more knowledge about educational policies while I’m there and use them to make a larger impact when I return to my position as Chair of UWC ISAK Japan.”

Imagine… if there was an ISAK lower school!

Dear Friends of UWC ISAK,

UWC ISAK is celebrating its 10th anniversary! We are proud of where we’ve come from, and we are excited about the next decade.

At this important milestone, we are wondering – in pursuit of broadening our impact, could an ISAK Lower School be considered as one of the options and would it be feasible? A school that embraces ISAK values and vision for a better future?
