ISAK Welcomes 16 New Faculty Members

International IB Boarding School Asia, ISAKISAK is proud to announce that 16 new faculty members have joined us for the 2015-2016 school year! The addition of our new faculty allows us to expand our curriculum while maintaining a student-teacher ratio of 5:1.

The diversity of our new faculty mirrors the diversity of our student body, with educators coming from all parts of the globe including Columbia, Taiwan, Canada, India, Spain, Singapore, U.K. and the U.S. For some, like Japanese teacher, Mr. Daisuke Masui, ISAK is a chance to return to Japan after teaching abroad for many years. Mr. Masui is excited to be a part of such an innovative program in his native country. All of our new faculty members have years of experience in their fields and bring a deep passion for teaching the IB curriculum to ISAK.  You can learn more about the unique backgrounds of all our faculty members by visiting our Staff Directory page.

After settling into their new surroundings, ISAK’s newest team members joined our returning faculty and staff for a retreat to learn more about our school mission and culture. As the group shared their perspectives with each other, one of the new teachers said, “This is the most human-centered start of the school year that I have ever had in my life.”
