Corporate Furusato Nozei

The Corporate Furusato Nozei (Corporate Hometown Tax) program allows companies to receive tax benefits when they donate to regional revitalization projects implemented by local governments and approved by the national government.

Through this program, companies can receive tax benefits equivalent to up to 90% of their donation amount, enabling them to support regional revitalization initiatives with minimal financial burden.

In the fall of 2021, Karuizawa Town’s regional revitalization plan was approved by the Cabinet Office. In collaboration with Karuizawa, UWC ISAK Japan participates in the “International Exchange and International Human Resources Development Project in the Region,” which is funded through donations made through the Corporate Furusato Nozei program. Through this initiative, we promote international exchange within the region and provide scholarships.

Please note that the Corporate Hometown Tax System applies to donations of 100,000 yen or more per time.
