All prices are displayed in Japanese Yen (JPY) unless otherwise indicated. Prices include applicable consumption tax where required by law.
- Summer School Program: Program fees are published on the Summer School page at the time of application
- Winter School Program: Program fees are published on the Winter School page at the time of application
- High School Program: Annual schools fees are included in the enrollment and re-enrollment contracts.
- Application Fees: 20,000 JPY for full-year program applications; varies for short-term programs (check specific program page)

Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit Card: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB
- Debit Card: Cards enabled for online payments
- Bank Transfer: Available for certain programs (details provided upon acceptance)
Important Notes:
- For international transactions, your bank may charge foreign currency conversion fees
- You are responsible for any bank processing fees
Payment Timing
Application Fees:
Payment must be completed at the time of application submission. Applications will not be processed until payment is received.
Program Fees:
- Summer School: Payment deadline is communicated in acceptance notification (typically 2-4 weeks after acceptance)
- Winter School: Payment deadline is communicated in acceptance notification
- High School Program: Payment schedule is provided to accepted students
Late payments may result in forfeiture of placement.
Service Delivery Timing
Application Processing:
Applications are processed and the results are communicated according to the timeline published on each program’s admissions page.
Program Delivery:
- Summer School: Typically held in July each year (specific dates published annually)
- Winter School: Typically held in December-January (specific dates published annually)
- High School Program: Academic year begins in August
Specific program dates are confirmed in acceptance materials.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Application Fees:
All application fees are non-refundable once submitted.
Program Fees:
- Summer School:
– Cancellations made before the published deadline (typically 6-8 weeks before program start): Full refund of program fees
– Cancellations made after the published deadline: No refund
– In cases where UWC ISAK Japan cancels the program due to safety concerns or unforeseen circumstances: Full refund - Winter School:-
Cancellation and refund policies are published on the Winter School page and communicated in acceptance materials - High School Program:
– Enrollment fees are non-refundable
– Annual tuition and other fee refund policies are outlined in the enrollment contract - Refund Processing:
– Approved refunds will be processed within 30 days of cancellation
– Refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise requested
– Bank fees associated with refund transfers are the responsibility of the applicant
Delivery/Shipping Fees
Not applicable. UWC ISAK Japan provides educational services; no physical goods are shipped.
For programs requiring materials to be sent (such as information packets or program materials), shipping costs, if any, will be communicated separately.
