Panetha Ott Scholarship at UWC ISAK Japan

The Panetha Ott Scholarship at UWC ISAK Japan provides full financial assistance to one exceptional high-need Grade 10 student from a marginalized community to attend UWC ISAK Japan for our 3-year High School Program.

Our School

UWC ISAK Japan opened its doors in 2014 before joining the UWC movement as its 17th member school in 2017. As Japan’s first full-boarding international high school, we are committed to educating intellectually curious, compassionate, and innovative students from around the world who are eager to make a difference.

Our Mission and Vision

At UWC ISAK Japan we empower each other to be transformational leaders who explore new frontiers and make a positive impact today and in the future. We believe not only in the power of education but also in the power of young people to become catalysts for positive change. We aim to create an environment where students learn to identify what is most important and needed, take action in the face of discomfort, use diversity as a strength, and support others in this practice.

When this approach is connected to our common UWC mission, that of making education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future, amazing opportunities arise, and powerful actions are initiated.

Scholarship Overview

The Panetha Ott Scholarship at UWC ISAK Japan provides three years of funding for one student per year to attend the school. At this important milestone, we are wondering – in pursuit of broadening our impact, could an ISAK Lower School be considered as one of the options and would it be feasible? A school that embraces ISAK values and vision for a better future?
