ISAK Summer School 2014

From July 19 – 31, 80 middle school students from 23 countries and territories joined on the ISAK campus for ISAK Summer School 2014. This is the largest Summer School we have held to date, and included our signature Leadership and Design Thinking programs, as well as unique extracurricular activities such as an afternoon of curling at the Karuizawa Ice Park!

ISAK Summer School provides students the opportunity to live and study with peers from around the world who come from widely diverse backgrounds. Just as important, the program teaches students about self-awareness and the importance of practice and perseverance in order to meet their goals.

“The best thing I learned at ISAK is that everything I do is controlled by no one but myself, and since our choices make us who we are, I can be whoever I want to be.”  (Student comment from ISAK Summer School 2014)
