This past weekend, Karuizawa held its annual Marathon Weekend, with hundreds of runners participating, including three ISAK students and our inspiring staff member, Mr. Jeon. Congratulations to Mitsu, Mao, Saki and Mr. Jeon for completing the 5K race, and a special shout out to Mao for coming in 5th in her category!
The races also provided an opportunity for ISAK students and staff to volunteer. Team ISAK helped out at the fruit tables run by the Karuizawa tourist association, passing refreshing snacks to runners as they passed by on the course. This is the 3rd year in a row that ISAK has participated in this major community event!
