Coding Lessons with Microsoft!

In our ongoing effort to give students opportunities to learn from industry professionals, we recently held a series of online programming courses taught by a professional, Mr Yu Ukai, from Microsoft. In addition to teaching our G11s and G12s about product management, he also conducted an ‘Hour of Code’ Minecraft session with our G10s!

Alex (G10, Slovakia), shared her experience about the event:

“The Microsoft session was an enriching experience for me, since I’m interested in the field of computer science and programming, and often, meeting people like Mr. Yu Ukai is the most genuine input we can get. Different majors or careers don’t require only one type of knowledge; past that, it’s more about our way of thinking, the working environment and other important factors, and through this session, we could find out more that and even directly discuss it. This was a unique opportunity where we could broaden our career perspectives through a practical hands-on approach and engaging Q&A session!”

Our guest speaker program this year will continue to include tech industry professionals, giving our students plenty of opportunities to gain more knowledge about the Internet of Things (IoT) as they continue to focus on tackling the important challenges in society!
