ISAK construction off to a strong start

Construction on ISAK facilities began on Sept. 3, and, thanks to Karuizawa’s beautiful fall weather, work has been progressing on schedule. We will be providing monthly updates with photos so you can see how the project is progressing.

Status as of Sept. 27
Dormitory and Faculty Housing: Steel framework construction finished (foundation work 50% complete).
School Building: Excavation and rubble removal finished (foundation work 30% complete).
Gymnasium: Excavation and rubble removal finished (foundation work 30% complete).
