ISAK students are beginning to explore their university options! Several universities are sending admissions officers to visit the ISAK campus this fall and ISAK students also have the option to attend various college fairs in Tokyo. This month students attended two events – the Kanto Plains College Fair, held at St. Mary’s International School, and the Education USA Expo College Fair. Over 80 colleges and universities were represented at each event.
College Fairs are a great opportunity for ISAK students to meet university representatives from a wide range of schools and, since G-10 and G-11 students are currently in the research phase of the university admission process, this type of exposure to different institutions helps students discover which kinds of schools feel like the best fit.
According to ISAK university counselor, Mr. Paul Sweet, “University representatives were excited to meet students from our school and to hear about our innovative approach to education and our distinctive program in leadership.”
Students will also have an opportunity to attend the Canada Education Fair in November.
