Earlier this month, ISAK’s Nepali students, Karma, Sangita and Himanshu, launched ISAK‘s ProjectNEPAL, a fundraising effort to help victims of Nepal’s devastating April 25, 2015 earthquake. The students’ efforts have helped to raise awareness about the situation in Nepal and their crowd-funding campaign has generated $14,393 in contributions – just shy of their $15,000 goal!
In addition to fundraising, Karma has written the music and lyrics to an inspirational song entitled, “Carry On You Will.” The song was recorded on campus by music teacher, Mr. McGibbon, with Karma singing the lead vocal, backed by other ISAK students.
