Today, Nikkei Business Online announced that Lin Kobayashi, Chair of the Board at ISAK, has been selected for its prestigious “Changemakers of the Year 2013″ award. The award is given to visionary leaders who are shaping the future of Japan, and are chosen by readers of Nikkei Business and Nikkei Business Online. (This year, approximately 290,000 votes were cast.) Sharing the award with Lin for 2013 are Hiroshi Mikitani, founder of Rakuten (Japan’s largest e-retailer), and Mitsuru Izumo, president of Euglena, an innovative company working to solve food shortage and environmental issues through the use of algae.
