The scaffolding around ISAK’s initial dormitory has been removed, and construction on the interior will be complete in 6-8 weeks.
ISAK will be a fully residential high school, with all students living on campus. Residential life at ISAK will encourage students to take the initiative and explore their ideas through trial and error, providing students with opportunities to take “safe risks” in a protected school environment.
Students will be expected to take the lead in establishing and implementing rules for dormitory life with peers from diverse cultures and backgrounds, not an easy task. However, it is through such experiences that ISAK students will acquire a true understanding of diversity, and learn how to achieve workable solutions among students with differing ideas and perspectives.
