10th Anniversary Campaign

Ms. Murabayashi’s Update – October 23

Greetings! By all accounts, Fall 2015 Project Week has been a great success! The Grade 10 students have been working under the guidance of the ISAK faculty and our consultant, Mr. Dave Mochel, an internationally recognized teacher and coach, who has a long relationship with ISAK. The focus of their week has been on developing students’ leadership practice through mindfulness activities, meditation, hikes and other individual and group activities. The Grade 11 students have been working under the guidance of the ISAK faculty and CAS Coordinator Mr. Jolyon Hinton to develop projects in local, national and international settings.

Here are a few pictures from Rising Karuizawa – the outdoor challenge/ropes facility where our students practiced risk-taking and team work this week!

Imagine… if there was an ISAK lower school!

Dear Friends of UWC ISAK,

UWC ISAK is celebrating its 10th anniversary! We are proud of where we’ve come from, and we are excited about the next decade.

At this important milestone, we are wondering – in pursuit of broadening our impact, could an ISAK Lower School be considered as one of the options and would it be feasible? A school that embraces ISAK values and vision for a better future?
